To make a design prompt of a communal kitchen for the Community Support Hub located at 312 Main, East Hastings, Vancouver, based on a local food ingredient for both daily and emergency use. We chose crickets as the ingredient since it is easy to farm indoors, high in protein, and can substitute plain flour in general. We made a two-part scale model of the kitchen space along with the cricket farming and storage space.
